Interpretation of service Levels

Preliminary enquiry report

Aim

A surveillance operation undertaken by an investigator in the locality of the subject's home address. The objective is to clarify the subject’s current lifestyle, employment status and level of disability, which should assist in the decision whether or not an upgrade of surveillance level would be fruitless or potentially rewarding. Suitable for claims when there is only suspicion or when the anticipated settlement figure is not initially high enough to justify the increased cost of an upgrade to surveillance.

Service Provided

A comprehensive report, with the option to upgrade to surveillance having first consulted with client.

First Level Investigation

Aim

To produce filmed evidence on one date, allowing sight of the subject’s mobility whilst carrying out daily activities. Suitable for when film is to be obtained on the date of a medical examination or particular appointment. Can help to accurately quantify envisaged payment figures.

Service Provided

Two copies of the film evidence, a detailed report and a signed statement suitable for disclosure. All films will have time / date displayed with a signed and dated log of events.

Second Level Investigation

Aim

To produce filmed evidence on at least two separate dates, eliminating the ‘good day - bad day’ defence factor. This is the favoured level of instruction most selected by insurers from the on set of most investigations.

Service Provided

Two copies of the film evidence, a detailed report and a signed statement suitable for disclosure. All films produced will have the time / date displayed with a signed and dated log of events.

Court Attendance

Provision of all equipment to show video, together with the original unedited tapes and also any contemporaneous notes. Fee per operative per day.
